Hey TRUNG, As you already know, every month I use at least one Saturday as my catch-up day for various website tasks. Today, I'm focusing on increasing website conversions on one of my newest website project. It's a WordPress plugin that I acquired last week called SearchWP. For more details on that, see the full backstory here. Anyways, back to my weekend plan for boosting website conversions. Here's what I have done so far: I set up enhanced eCommerce tracking on my website, so I can see exactly how people are finding and using the site. I used this conversion tracking tutorial. Now that my reporting is set up, I can see where people are abandoning, what are my high value pages, what my baseline conversion rate is, etc. So now I am ready to take action and improve my conversions. Here are the top two resources that I'm using this weekend: - 18 ways to make more money from your existing website traffic - 30 proven power-user tips to boost your conversions My big priority is to turn abandoning visitors into subscribers and hopefully customers. Also I'm going to double down on my highest traffic pages and create targeted messages there to turn visitors into paying customers. Lastly, I'm going to add some gamification and urgency to turn engaged visitors into buyers. This is a project I'll be working on the next three weeks so if you want to follow along, keep visiting the SearchWP site over the next few weeks to see the difference :) New WordPress Tutorials on WPBeginner: - Several readers asked me for tips on how to set up breadcrumbs in WordPress? I dropped a hint earlier, we acquired SearchWP. It's the most advanced WordPress search plugin in the market. I first wrote a tutorial about it in 2013 when it was first launched. Fast forward 8 years, I can't believe that it's now part of the WPBeginner family. Sometimes I really feel like I'm living in a dream. I shared more details on how this all came to be, my conversations with Jon (original developer), and what our plans are. None of this would be possible without your continued support of WPBeginner, and for that I'm eternally grateful. I'm committed to bringing you more amazing WordPress tutorials and plugins to help you grow your business. Have a great rest of your week :) Cheers, Syed Balkhi Founder of WPBeginner | | | |
