WordPress search sucks. Here are tools to make it better!

Hey TRUNG, If you've been using WordPress for a while, then you already know that the default WordPress search feature isn't very good. Over the years, I have tried many different search plugins and tools on WPBeginner to see how I can make our site search better. After a lot of trial and error, I have settled on a solution that works for us. My team wrote a guide on 12 best WordPress search plugins that you can use to improve your site search. But here's a thing ... if you're a blogger like me, then you don't need the #1 or #2 paid solution. I'd recommend just configuring Google Search for WordPress (solution #4). It's free, and this is what I have been using for a long time. Only about a year ago, I decided to customize it a bit further where I'm paying Google to remove their ads from my site. Our site search is still powered by Google because I believe nobody is better than Google when it comes to search relevance algorithm. Now if you're running an online store with WooCommerce, then you may want to try the top two solutions like SearchWP or ElasticPress because they simply give you more flexibility in highlighting your products.
